The Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix in combination with this Maxi Cosi EasyFix base uses the innovative IsoFix car seat system, an attachment system that is built into a lot of new cars. Its main advantage - with one click the car seat is fitted quickly and with optimum safety.

Studies show that up to 80% of all car seats are fitted incorrectly or not securely enough in the car and for this reason Maxi Cosi has developed two models of car seats that use the IsoFix attachment system that is safe and easy to use.

IsoFix fittings are an integral part of the car seat and are attached directly to the car body. An extra “leg” supports the car base and provides additional stability and safety.

The Maxi Cosi child car seat must always be fitted in a rearward facing position (in the opposite direction to the traffic flow). NEVER place car seats on the front seat if an airbag is fitted.
