With just enough fabric to keep your baby snug, but not so much that they get too hot or have to be wound up like a bandage, they're perfect. 

Past medical studies have shown that swaddling reduces arousal, or the tendency for the baby to awaken through reflex motion and that it might have a role in lowering SIDS risk.
